Here you can find the ILCD supporting tools. The documentation and publication of Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) and Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA) data sets are supported by the related ILCD data set documentation and exchange format. A related data set editor allows the documentation, editing, and compliance-verification of ILCD formatted data sets.

tools

The ILCD editor is a Java application that works directly in your internet browser (Java Runtime 1.5 or later required to start the application - if you get a message asking with which application you would like to open the link, this means that you need to install Java Runtime on your computer). An editor overview documentation/user help is included.

Replacing the old source code of the preceding editor, the source code of the current version of the ILCD editor Beta 10 is now available. (Note that it is for use exclusively by software developers; this is not a software application that would run on your computer.

We also provide the application that allows to convert ILCD formatted process data sets to MS Excel format. It can convert either single process data sets or entire folders. See the included Readme-shorthelp.txt file for details (short help and release notes are included in the package for both editor and convertor).

We also provide access to new ILCD format developer kit, to support developers in implementation of the format or of an import/export interface, as well as for documenting own data sets.
